General Questions

Present a government-issued photo ID and place a $50 security deposit on a credit card, or $350 when using a debit card. A parent or guardian must sign for minors.

Yes. A CPSC-approved helmet is provided at no extra charge.

Insurance is not mandatory. You are liable for loss or damage unless you purchase the optional Bike Loss Damage Waiver (LDW) for $25 per day.

Security deposits must be placed on a credit or debit card; debit cards require the higher deposit. You may pay the rental fee itself in cash.

Licensing & Age Requirements

No driver’s license is required to rent a standard bicycle. Riders should be comfortable on a bike and follow local traffic laws and trail rules.

There is no minimum age for kid bikes. Riders under 16 must have a parent or guardian present and must wear a helmet.

No. Only rear child-seat attachments are offered.

Vehicle Specs & Operation

Adult frames range from XS to XL (13–21 inches). Kid frames are available in 20-inch and 24-inch sizes. Staff will fit the bike to you at pickup.

Cruiser bikes are single-speed. Hybrid and mountain bikes have 21 speeds. Road bikes have 18 speeds.

Front and rear reflectors and a handlebar bell are included. Night-ride lights are available on request.

Maximum rider weight is 300 pounds. Rear cargo racks are limited to 25 pounds.

Passenger Policy

Yes. Rear child seats and tow-behind kid trailers are available to rent. The child must wear a helmet.

The rear child seat supports up to 45 pounds.

Road Usage

Use bike lanes, shared paths, and low-speed streets, and obey local cycling laws.

Yes, but only with a mountain bike. Stay on marked trails and respect all posted signs.

Standard bikes may be taken on public transportation where allowed by local transit rules.

Add‑Ons and Equipment

Helmet, cable lock, printed local route map, and a Google Maps route link.

Phone mounts, baskets, panniers, child seats, tow-behind kid trailers, roadside kits, and reusable water-bottle holders are available for a small fee.

Tool kits are included with LDW or available for an additional charge.

Insurance & Coverage

The LDW is $25 per day and includes a $50 damage deductible. Theft deductibles are $350 for standard bikes and $500 for premium bikes. Tire coverage and roadside pickup within ten miles are included.

No. Failure to lock the bike voids LDW coverage.

Pickup & Return

After-hours returns are not available for standard bikes.

No. Bikes must be returned to the original rental location.

Cleaning & Damage

No bike cleaning is required; we handle it after return.

Call support. LDW covers labor plus half the tire cost. Without LDW, the renter pays the full tire cost and labor.

Pricing & Discounts

Yes. Discounted three-day, weekly, and monthly rates are available.

No holiday or peak-season surcharges are applied.

Safety & Emergencies

Helmet use is mandatory for all riders except in Hawaii, where it is strongly encouraged but not legally required. A helmet is provided with every rental.

Seek medical assistance if needed, then call GoGo Rental to file an incident report.

No. Roadside assistance is available during business hours, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
