Sax on the Beach
Saturday, July 18, 2026 · Detroit Lakes, MN. Registration runs 10–11 AM and games begin at 11 AM sharp. Sign up early to lock in your spot — $30 per person ($60 per 2-player team), free Sax on the Beach T-shirt included. Pool play feeds into a single elimination bracket. Tournament Details
Now in its fourth year, the Sax on the Beach Bean Bag Toss Tournament is back on Saturday, July 18, 2026. Register early to lock in your team’s spot and earn a free tournament T-shirt — then compete for cash, bar tabs at The Hub, and bonus team prizes throughout the day. Whether you’re aiming to win or just looking to enjoy a day with friends, this tournament promises good times and great memories.
Format & Match Rules
Pool Play → Single Elimination Bracket. Teams are assigned to pools based on final signup numbers (3–4 teams per pool).
3-team pools: 2 games each
4-team pools: 3 games each
Pool games go to 15 or 21 points, announced day-of based on signup count.
Scoring: Win = 1 pt, Loss = 0. Tie-breakers: point differential, then total points scored. Top 8 or 16 teams advance to the bracket; some 2nd-place teams may qualify on performance.
Match rules: Boards 27 ft apart. Regulation bags provided. 2 players per team, 4 bags per round. Scoring: 3 in the hole, 1 on the board, cancellation, no bust (21+ wins). 20-second throw clock; players stay in the pitcher’s box. No taunting — warning, then DQ. Officials’ word is final.

Weather plan: If rain or high winds, matches may be delayed or moved to GoGo’s Hwy 59 backup location. Updates posted via @GoGoRental_US and texted/emailed to registered participants.
