Common Questions
Do I need a boating license?
No boating license is required to rent a pontoon in Minnesota. You must be 25 or older with a valid driver’s license. A brief orientation video is included with your booking confirmation.
What is the damage waiver?
An optional damage waiver may be offered at checkout to cover accidental damage beyond normal wear. It is not required but recommended. Full terms are shown before you complete your booking.
When do I get the lockbox code?
If you book same-day, your code arrives by email immediately after payment. For future bookings, the code is sent one hour before your rental start time.
What if I return late?
Late returns affect other bookings. Contact us immediately if you’re running behind. Excessive late returns may forfeit your deposit. We appreciate your consideration of other renters.
Is fuel included?
Boats go out with a full tank and must be returned full. There is a fuel station near the marina. If you don’t refuel, a fuel charge will be deducted from your deposit.
