Have questions about your winter rental? Our FAQs cover everything from rental requirements, deposits, and age policies to trail passes, helmet rules, and return conditions. These answers are designed to give you clarity so you can hit the snow with confidence.

General Questions

You must be at least 18, or 16 with a legal guardian present, show a government-issued photo ID, and leave a $100 deposit on a credit card.

No. Staff will show you how to use snowshoes and bindings. Snowboard renters should already know basic green-run safety rules.

Deposits must be placed on a credit or debit card. Debit cards require a higher deposit. Rental fees may be paid in cash.

Age & Rider Requirements

Yes. Ages 12–17 may rent snowshoes with a parent’s signature. Snowboard demos are available to riders 16 and older with a guardian present. aged 8 to 15 may use a paddle board or Yes. Child-size masks and fins are available, but a guardian must supervise and sign the waiver. under direct adult supervision. Water bikes are limited to riders at least 12 years old and 4 ft 6 in tall.

Snowshoes fit boot sizes US 4 to 13 and support riders up to 250 lb.

Equipment & Inclusions

Each rental includes a pair of aluminum snowshoes, telescoping poles, and a storage tote.

A demo includes the snowboard with adjustable bindings. Helmet and boots can be added for an extra fee.

No. Bring your Availability varies by location. Contact your store to confirm. ice. The dry-bag style Ice Mule cooler can keep ice for up to twenty-four hours if pre-chilled.

Trail & Slope Use

A one-mile groomed loop runs directly behind the store and is open 9 am to 5 pm, weather permitting.

Yes, but you are responsible for transport, lift tickets, and following each venue’s rules.

Safety & Weather

Helmets are mandatory for riders under 18 and strongly recommended for all others.

Windchill below −15 °F, freezing rain, or posted trail closures will trigger a free cancellation or reschedule.

Insurance & Coverage

Yes. Snow-Gear LDW costs $8 per day and covers edge or base damage with a $250 deductible.

Pickup & Return

No. The shop tunes boards between rentals. You are liable for misuse such as riding rails or concrete.

Knock off snow and ice. Excessive mud or bent frames may incur cleaning or repair fees.

Policies vary by location. Contact your GoGo Rental store for details.

Pricing & Discounts

Yes. Three-day and weekly rentals are discounted by twenty percent.

Pay $31.50 per week. After eight paid weeks, the board is yours with a $50 buyout.

Yes. Rates may increase during holidays and peak seasons.

Emergencies & Support

Call GoGo Rental support. We will arrange an on-site swap or issue a credit, depending on availability.
