General Questions

You must be at least 18 years old, present a valid driver’s license, and place a $100 security deposit on a major credit card.

No prior experience is needed. A shore-side safety briefing and paddle orientation are provided at pickup.

Deposits must be made using a credit or debit card.

Age & Passenger Policy

Ages 12 to 17 may paddle when accompanied by a parent or legal guardian and must wear a life jacket. Solo rentals are only allowed for those 18 and older.

Single-seat kayaks do not allow passengers. Tandem models, when available, can carry one adult and one child under 90 pounds.

Equipment & Inclusions

Each rental includes a paddle, Coast Guard-approved life jacket (PFD), safety whistle, and a basic dry bag.

Yes. Sportsman models come with three built-in rod holders and gear tracks. Bring your own rods and tackle.

No, we do not offer wetsuits or spray skirts. Life jackets are available in all sizes.

Water Usage & Restrictions

You may paddle on calm inland lakes, sheltered bays, and slow-moving rivers. Open-ocean use is not permitted.

Electric-assist kayaks may only be used in waters where electric motors are permitted. Check with local lake authorities before launch.

All kayaks and canoes must be off the water at least 30 minutes before sunset.

Transport & Pickup

No trailer is included. Roof racks and foam blocks are available for vehicle transport. A utility trailer is available as an add-on for an additional fee.

No. All kayaks must be picked up in-store.

Safety & Water Conditions

Yes. A personal flotation device (PFD) must be worn at all times while on the water.

High winds over 20 mph, lightning, or small-craft advisories will result in cancellation or rescheduling.

If you choose to proceed with a rental while storms are visible on radar, refunds will not be issued.

Insurance & Coverage

Yes. Optional Paddlecraft LDW is available for $10 per day and covers accidental hull damage with a $300 deductible.

Yes. LDW includes coverage for lost paddles or PFDs. If not selected, the renter is responsible for replacement costs.

Cleaning & Damage

Yes. Please hose off any sand or mud and drain excess water. Excessive debris or neglect may result in a cleaning fee.

Late returns are charged $10 per hour beyond the scheduled return time, up to the full daily rental rate.

No. After-hours drop-off is not allowed unless specifically arranged with an employee in advance.

Pricing & Discounts

Yes. Discounted 3-day, weekly, and monthly rental rates are available.

Yes. Rates may vary during holidays or peak rental periods.

Emergencies & Support

Stay with the kayak, use self-rescue to get back in, and paddle to shore. If you cannot re-enter, call GoGo Rental for assistance.

Call the GoGo Rental support number listed on your rental receipt. For emergencies, contact local emergency services immediately.
