General Questions

Renters must be at least 25 years old, have a valid driver’s license, proof of car insurance, and place a $1,000 security deposit on a major credit card at the time of rental.

No, Slingshots are classified as autocycles, so a standard driver’s license is sufficient.

Yes, or you must purchase coverage through GoGo Rental at the time of booking and accept a higher deposit of $1500

Yes, the deposit is refunded after return pending no damage or violations.

Only if they meet the same requirements and are added to the rental agreement.

Yes. Multi-day pricing is discounted. Contact us for long-term rates.

You can pay for the rental with cash or use of a debit card, but the security deposit must go on a credit card. If you don’t have a credit card, you’ll need to place a $1,500 deposit and purchase the $35 liability insurance.

Insurance and Protection

A $35/day Loss Damage Waiver is available. Minor damage is limited to $500, major damage or theft up to $1,000. you can add roadside assistance for an additional $10/day

No, unless added through coverage. Without it, you are liable for full towing and service fees.

No. Flat tires are the renter’s full responsibility.

We will bill you in-shop, and you as the renter will have to seek reimbursement from your insurance company.

Driving and Usage

No. There are no road restrictions for Slingshots. You’re free to explore.

Yes. Slingshots are street-legal and allowed on all public roads and highways.

No. Slingshots are not off-road vehicles and must remain on paved roads.

Yes. You’ll receive a Google Maps link to scenic driving routes. In store you will receive a paper map with 22 of our best recommendations!

No, Slingshots cannot drive in or on water.

Features and Comfort

Yes. Slingshots come with Bluetooth audio for music and audio navigation.

Automatic. No manual transmission models are currently offered.

Yes. Each unit has two compartments for personal items behind the seat of the driver and passenger. While we do not recommend leaving personal items inside the vehicle, you can stow away towels and smaller items. Keep all valuables on you at all times.

No, the roof cannot be removed. It can be lifted for easier entry and exit.

Passengers

Slingshots accommodate two people – one driver and one passenger.

Passengers must be 9 years old or older.

Safety and Weather

Yes, but use extra caution. Slingshots are open-air and offer minimal protection in wet weather.

No. Helmets are not required by law, but are optional for added safety.

Use caution in adverse conditions. You can reschedule your booking if weather is not permitted. There are no refunds or rebookings if made within 24 hours of your reservation.

Booking and Returns

You must contact us within 2 hours of your pickup time, or your reservation may be released.

Yes, but early returns are not refunded.

No. A staff member has to check you in and out during business hours. If you know you’re going to be late, we may be able to extend the rental based on availability.

Yes. Most of the time, extensions are flexible, but they are subject to availability.
