Visit the National Historic Site where in 1804 was the meeting place of Sakakawea and Lewis and Clark! On the remains of an 1845 ancient Indian village, sits a state of the art museum dedicated to preserving the culture of the Plains Indians. The Museum has many things to do like watching orientation film maxidiwiac, art work and many exhibits throughout, Earthlodge, Hidatsa garden and the Village trail (1.3 Miles) that you can walk on and by the Knife River.
