Chahinkapa Zoo is an 29 acre zoo located in Wahpeton, ND. This first Zoo in North Dakota, and it is open May - October and by appointment during the winter. Featuring over 200 animals this zoo is sure to exceed all expectations.  Right across the road is the Chahinkapa Campground, don't forget to call ahead and get your reservation as they do book up fast!
